Stampeders Fall 7-0, Drop Fifth Straight Game Sunday Afternoon in Winkler

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their fifth straight game Sunday afternoon, losing 7-0 to the Winkler Flyers

It was all Winkler Flyers in the opening 20 minutes of play, scoring three straight goals. Isaiah Peters collected his fourth of the season 2:20 into the first and Trent Penner scored back-to-back goals at 8:35 and 15:18 to go up 3-0.

Marek Miller deposited his third of the year at 8:11 of the second period to give the home squad a 4-0 lead through 40 minutes of play.

Isaiah Peters added his second of the game 2:17 into the final frame, Dalton Andrew struck twice at 9:46 and 12:06 of the third period and the Winkler Flyers skated to a 7-0 win
