Stampeders Hire Trainer

The Swan Valley Stampeders are excited to announce the hiring of Kate Wiens as the Athletic Therapy Certification Candidate/Equipment Manager for the 2018/2019 Season. 

Wiens, who hails from Glenlea, Manitoba has worked with the Eastman Selects AAA organization from 2015-2018. Wiens has recently graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Kinesiology-Athletic Therapy in June. She also attended clinical placement at Eastman Therapy in Steinbach for the past two years. Wiens has also been apart of the training staff at the 2017 and 2018 MJHL prospect development camps.

Wiens is very qualified and her experience in the field will be very valuable to the team,” said Head Coach and General Manager Taurean White. “We want to welcome Kate to the Swan River Valley and look forward to her contributions to the Stampeder Organization.” 

With the hiring of Kate Wiens the Swan Valley Stampeders are now fully staffed and are shifting their focus to the upcoming season.
