The Stampeders Board of Directors has been completely revamped and all seats filled for the first time in four seasons. This year the board had three departures with nine new member to announce.
Cramer Coulthart has stepped down as team President but will remain on as the team Governor. He will not hold a board seat. Terms for board members Ryan Bettesworth and Jeff Riddell were not renewed and we want to thank all them for all their time and commitment in bettering the team moving forward.
Returning board member Danielle Gordon-Broome was re-elected and will join Rod Pidskalny and Evan Morden who are still finishing out terms.
Incoming board members are Dallas Anderson, Erin Hodgson, Ken Kirkpatrick, Jackie Mullin, Ricky Barker, Cole Windsor, Dave Fletcher, Jordan Olson and Warren Clark.
Evan Morden has become the board’s new President while Dallas Anderson was voted in to be Vice President and Erin Hodgson will become the secretary.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank our out-going president Cramer Coulthart for all his efforts over the years,” said Morden. “He has done an unbelievable job guiding the Stampeders through some truly unprecedented times. Financially, it was a good year for the team as we will be showing an operating profit of just over $55,000. A lot of that can be attributed to strong corporate sponsorship and a good yield from our crop project. On the ice, we will be looking forward to righting the ship next year and expect to ice a competitive team.”
Morden went on to say, “I am also excited to welcome our new board members. We have been able to fill all 12 seats on the board. We have some great individuals from lots of different backgrounds that will all do a great job bringing some new and fresh ideas to the table.”
We thank everyone who has come forward to hold a board seat or registered to volunteer their time for this coming season.
