The Swan Valley Stampeders have traded 20-year-old Defenceman Jackson Betcher to the Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for Future Considerations.

I was lucky to be able to meet great teammates and make friends for life. I would also like to thank the amazing and dedicated fans for supporting the team and I all these years. It is a special community that I am glad to be a part of. To the coaches, my teammates and the fans – thank you.”

“We would like to thank Jackson for all his hard work, both on and off the ice, his commitment, dedication and community involvement during the last four season with the Stampeders,” said Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff. “We wish Jackson nothing but the best moving forward with his new team.”
