The Swan Valley Stampeders couldn’t keep the high-flying Dauphin Kings at bay Tuesday night, losing 6-2 at the Centennial Arena.
Aiden Murray opened the scoring Tuesday night, collecting his first MJHL goal at 4:20 of the first period. Landen Gulutzan responded for the Stampeders with a sneaky wrist shot on the power play three minutes later. The Kings regained the lead and led 2-1 after the first period.
Callum Halls grabbed a puck out of midair, dropped it, spun and scored his ninth of the season 51 seconds into the middle frame to tie the game 2-2. But that was it for the Stampeders offence as the Kings rattled off four straight goals to claim victory Tuesday night at the Centennial Arena.
