Swan Valley Stampeders Have Traded 20-year-old Forward Josh Danis To The Niverville Nighthawks

The Swan Valley Stampeders have traded 20-year-old forward Josh Danis to the Niverville Nighthawks of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for 19-year-old forward Ian Ness and Future Considerations.

Danis, a native of Calgary, AB, was acquired from the Kindersley Klippers (SJHL) in 2022 and sat second in team scoring with 23 points this season. The 6’0” 185lbs forward collected 17 goals, adding 33 assists in 101 total games played for the Stampeders.

Ness, a product of Moorhead, MN, USA, will join the Swan Valley Stampeders after dressing in 14 games, collecting five assists, with the Nighthawks this season. Prior to that, the 5’9” 154lbs forward played eight games with the Aberdeen Wings in the North American Hockey League.
