The Stampeders Fall 3-1 To The Portage Terriers Saturday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their fourth straight game Saturday night, falling to the Portage Terriers at Stride place.

Despite a pair of Stampeder power plays in the first period, it was the Terriers who capitalized on their first man-advantage of the game. Aidan Brook collected his fifth of the year at 15:47 of the opening frame.

Darius Makse was able to show off his stick-handling moves midway through the second period, stepping off the wall and wiring one home at 8:56 for his 13th of the season. But it was the constant pressure of the Terriers that allowed them to regain the lead. Cam Bullinger deflected one past Elias Giaccari-Dimitriou at 15:27 for his 14th of the season and Rhett Perin made it 3-1, scoring his fourth of the season at 19:47 and the Terriers skated to a 3-1 win Saturday night.
