The Swan Valley Stampeders are very excited to announce our annual “Stamps Camp” hockey school slated for August 24-28, 2020.
“This camp is designed to maximize full learning potential while allowing the players to enjoy the camp and have FUN,” said Stampeders Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff.
The camp is open to boys and girls in the following age groups: 6-9 10-12 13-15
**Conditioning camp for the elite hockey players going into AAA and or Junior Tryouts are for players born in the 2000 to 2006 years. All Participants will receive an official souvenir camp Jersey.
The first four days of the hockey school will see two separate ice times including individual skill development, skating, passing, shooting, game tactics, small area competition games, and scrimmages.
Off ice sessions will include conditioning, (more advanced for the older groups) skills and game activities. Goalies will receive goalie instruction, and goalie specific drills.
The fifth day will be a fun competition day including a full scrimmage.
“This is very exciting for many youngsters who have been waiting to hit the ice,” said Director of Marketing Cody Manchester. “It will be fun to see everyone back at the rink and enjoying the sport they love. This is also a great chance for the kids to interact with Stampeder players ahead of main camp and the regular season.”
Early Bird pricing is on until August 1, 2020.
The cost for either Stamps Camp or Elite Camp is $250.00, after August 1, the price increases to $275. Families with more than one child enrolled will also receive 10% off the second registration.
