We are excited to announce the upcoming Alumni Weekend and Fundraising Social to celebrate 25 seasons of Stampeders Hockey!
On Saturday, March 9, 2024, we invite all former players and staff to join us for a day to reconnect, reminisce and make new memories with old friends.
Tentative Agenda
Friday (March 8)
- Casual social evening for those arriving in town in advance
Saturday (March 9)
- Awards luncheon (noon): Join the current 2023-24 Swan Valley Stampeders team and community members in celebrating this year’s achievements and reflecting on the past 25 seasons
- Free time: reconnect with your billet families or stay at the awards venue (cash bar available) and visit with friends
- Pre-game Tailgate Party (6 p.m.): Join us in the Centennial Arena’s lounge for pizza and appetizers before the game
- Game Time (7 p.m.): Watch the Swan Valley Stampeders take on the Winnipeg Blues
- Time to party (10 p.m.): Join the Stampeders and the Swan Valley Legacy Committee to raise funds for the team’s future as well as the new arena project, all while having a great time with your former teammates. Separate alumni lounge space is available.
Other opportunities include: 25th Season Jersey auction, amazing raffle prizes, cash draw, merchandise sales and more
Registration
To make registration easy we have bundled the weekend together in one low fee ($100) that includes all meals, snacks and entry into all planned events. It also includes a commemorative 25th Season Hat only available to attending alumni. (Hotel, alcohol sales and additional opportunity sales are not included)

Through this link, those attending will be able to pay their fee upon registration. If you choose not to attend but still want to support the team and the community’s new rink project an option for donation is available on the RSVP form as well. Or, you can also use the form to simply send a message to the club to be included in the festivities.
