Paull Funeral Home & Crematorium Three Stars of the Week (Feb. 18 – Feb 25)

Every Monday we will be awarding three players who had a big week and giving them stars. We will be doing this week-to-week with points being collected throughout the season. The top three players will be recognized and presented an award during our final home game of the season.

The Swan Valley Stampeders didn’t have a great week, again. They went 0-2 last week, giving up 14 goals against while only scoring four of their own. Swan Valley now sits with a record of 10-40-2 and are currently riding an 11-game losing streak.

A tough year is nearing completion as the Stampeders only have six games left in their 25th season in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

This upcoming week, the Stampeders will host the Dauphin Kings Wednesday, Feb. 28 in our annual student game. Puck drop is scheduled for 12:30pm from the Centennial Arena. They follow that up with another trip to Neepawa Friday, Mar. 1 and will close out the week with against the Portage Terriers Saturday night at the Centennial Arena.

Three star point system is as follows:

1st Star = 3 points

2nd Star = 2 points

3rd Star = 1 point
