Stampeders Announce Auto-Protected Players

The Swan Valley Stampeders are excited to announce their two auto-protected players ahead of this year’s Manitoba Junior Hockey League Draft.

The Stamps’ have selected Defencemen Andrew Pidskalny (06) and Jackson Badowski (06). Both hail from Swan River, MB, and played for the U18 AAA Parkland Rangers during the 2021/2022 season.

Each year, all MJHL teams have the ability to auto-protect two draft eligible players from their respective regions before the Annual MJHL Draft. This year’s draft will take place Saturday, June 4 at 3:00 PM CST.

Andrew Pidskalny, 5’6”, 126lbs, collected four assists in 41 games with the Rangers this past season.

Jackson Badowski, 5’10”, 146lbs, collected 3 assists in 43 games with the Rangers this past season.

The Swan Valley Stampeders are thrilled to protect both Pidskalny and Badowski and look forward to watching their continued development.
