The Stampeders improved their record to 16-8-2 with a 6-1 win over the Neepawa Natives Wednesday night.

Josh Beauchemin lead the way with 2 goals, Trevor Schroder and Mattias Dal Monte each had a goal and an assist, while Michael Davis back stopped his club to their 16th win of the year.

Trevor Schroder kicked things off tonight scoring 3:51 into the opening frame, tipping home his 11th of the year on the power play. Josh Beauchemin would find a loose puck in the slot, turned, fired, and scored his 6th of the year just over 10 minutes later. Michael Davis wasn’t tested much but turned aside all 5 shots he faced in the first period.

The Stampeders poured it on in the middle frame, scoring 3 goals in less than 10 minutes. Jackson Betcher would join the rush and finished off a cross ice pass from Parker Johnson at 4:34. Luke Beerman picked up a loose puck at the blue-line, walked around his defenceman and tucked home his 10th of the season 24 seconds later. Mattias Dal Monte picked up his 9th goal of the season, sending a shot on net that beat Dawson Green at 14:25. Eli Liefers answered back for the Natives, breaking Michael Davis’s shutout, scoring on the power play at 15:35.

Josh Beauchemin added his second of the night, and his 7th of the year at 9:51 of the final frame, and the Stampeders skated to a 6-1 win over the Neepawa Natives.

With tonight’s win, the Stamps’ jump into fourth place in the MJHL Standings, moving one point ahead of Wayway.

The Stampeders will return to action Friday November 29th when they travel to Neepawa again to face the Natives. Puck drop is 7:30pm.
