Stampeders Drop A 10-1 Decision Friday Night in Virden

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their seventh game of the season, losing 10-1 to the Virden Oil Capitals at Tundra Oil & Gas Place Friday night.

The Stampeders opened the scoring on the power play as Callum Halls deflected home his third of the season at 15:08 of the first period. But that was it as Virden’s offence took over and scored ten straight 5-on-5 goals to win their sixth of the year.

The Stampeders finish the week with a home game tomorrow night against the Neepawa Titans at the Centennial Arena. A game presented by Prairie Valley Airspray.
