Stampeders Push Win Streak to Two Games With a 4-1 Win Wednesday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders picked up two points Wednesday night, defeating the Neepawa Titans 4-1 at the Centennial Arena.

Swan Valley’s offence was led by Jakob Jones (2G, 1A), Justin Keck (2G) and Noah Wilson (2A), while Kobe Grant picked up the win in net, turning aside 33/34 shots he faced.

Jakob Jones got the party started Wednesday night in front of a smaller crowd at the Centennial Arena. Jones scored a nifty unassisted goal 8:38 into the first period. Jones collected his eighth of the season seven minutes later and the Stampeders held a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes of play.

Justin Keck added to the Stampeders’ lead, scoring his seventh of the year one minute into the middle frame. Camden Smith cut into Swan Valley’s lead at the 14:36 mark of the second period.

Justin Keck all but sealed the game with his eighth of the season at 3:12 of the third period, and the Stampeders skated to a 4-1 win on home ice.
