Swan River, MB – When they celebrate their 25th anniversary this coming season the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Swan Valley Stampeders will be celebrating their past while looking forward to the future.
Today the Stampeders officially introduce the first of two 25th season logos which will serve to mark the occasion. This logo will be primarily used as the shoulder crest on the anniversary themed third jersey as well as on merchandise and promotions.
“For our 25th season we have switched copper for silver and will focus on the bright, that bold blue that reminds you of jerseys from the early days,” said Stampeders Vice-President Danielle Gordon-Broome, noting it was important to give this nod to the past. “Twenty-five years is an important milestone in any organization but even more so with one that is community owned and operated like the Stampeders are. This team is your team and we will proudly celebrate our past achievements and work together for the bright future I know is ahead.”
A selection of new branded merchandise including hoodies, shirts, hats and novelty items will be available online and at The Stall as the new season begins.
The new crest logo and the third jersey will be revealed prior to the season.
