STAMPS PROTECT TWO AHEAD OF THE MJHL DRAFT

The Swan Valley Stampeders are excited to announce their two auto-protected players ahead of this years Manitoba Junior Hockey League Bantam Draft.

The Stamps’ have selected Forward Steven Arp (04) and Defencemen Matthew Munro (04).

Both Arp and Munro hail from Swan River, MB and played for the Bantam AAA Parkland Rangers during the 2018/2019 season.

Each year, all 11 MJHL Organizations have the ability to auto protect two draft eligible players from their respective regions before the Bantam Draft, which is being held Sunday January 9th in Winnipeg.

Steven Arp, a 5’11” 137 lbs forward, collected 41 points (24 Goals – 17 Assists) and 36 penalty minutes in 36 games with the Parkland Rangers this past season.

Matthew Munro, a 5’10”, 145 lbs defenceman, collected 26 points (4 Goals – 22 Assists) and 38 penalty minutes in 35 games with the Parkland Rangers this past season.

The Stamps’ are thrilled to select both Steven Arp and Matthew Munro. We want to welcome both players and their families to the Stampeder organization.
