Swan Valley Falls 6-3 To The Steinbach Pistons Saturday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders couldn’t keep the puck out of their own net Saturday night, losing 6-3 to the Steinbach Pistons.

One step forward, one step back has been the season so far for the young men who now sit with a record of 3-5.

Brady Ingebriston opened the scoring for the Pistons, walking into the slot all alone and snapping one off the far post and in at 13:40 of the first period.

The Pistons added to their lead as hunter Degelman scored 3:45 into the second period. Darius Makes collected his third of the year at 4:53 pulling the Stamps to within one. Callum Halls tied the game 2-2, deflecting home an Ashton Fishley point shot four minutes later. Before the period was over, Huner Degelman added his second of the night giving Steinbach a 3-2 lead after forty minutes.

Leo Chambers (45 seconds), David Cote (11:22), and Grady Hoffman (13:38) all scored in the third period for the Pistons. Owen Warnick tipped home his second of the year at 19:59 but it wasn’t enough and the Stampeders fell 6-3 Saturday night.
