The IG Wealth Management Game 4 Report vs Dauphin

The highly anticipated Game 4 between the Swan Valley Stampeders and the Dauphin Kings will go tonight from Credit Union Place.

The Stampeders head into tonight’s game up 2-1 in the best-of-seven quarter-final series, but trail 12-11 in goals. A major part of the past two games has been special teams. Swan Valley converted on four power-play goals in Game 2 to help propel them to a 6-5 win, while Dauphin scored twice in Game 3 to help them win 6-3.

The Stampeders stumbled late in the first period and couldn’t recover, eventually falling to the Kings in Game 3 at the Centennial Arena. Swan Valley will need to do a much better job of 5-on-5 play tonight and limit their trips to the penalty box if they look to take a 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5 on home ice Saturday, Apr. 1.

Look for a strong effort and a bounce-back game from the entire team tonight on the road.
