Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Oil Capitals: The Stampeders head out on the road tonight, and are looking to push their recent win streak to three games. Out of the last eight wins, the Stampeders have won seven of those by one goal. Swan Valley will need to continue receiving offence from all over the lineup to help them down the stretch before the Christmas break.
Last Game: 4-3 win over Virden: The Stampeders used home ice advantage to propel them to victory last night, improving their record to 14-9-1-1. Those two points moved them into a two way tie for second place in the MGEU West Division. Colling Jennings, who scored a pair of goals last night, has been on fire since returning from his two game suspension. Justin Keck and Jakob Jones added a goal each while Kobe Grant stopped 31/34 shots he faced in the win.

Tonight’s Matchup: vs Swan: Virden has had a rough stretch of hockey lately, dropping their last three games and being outscored 18-7 over that stretch. Look for the Oil Capitals to use home ice advantage to snap out of their recent funk tonight.
Last Game: 4-3 loss to Swan Valley: The Virden Oil Capitals answered back every time the Stampeders scored a goal last night but couldn’t find a way to take the lead at any point in the game. The result was not what the Oil Capitals were looking for, dropping their third straight game.
