Swan Valley enters tonight’s game, one point back of fourth place in the MGEU West Division, and just three points behind first place. Swan needs to find a way to gain points this weekend in Niverville and Winkler.

Last Game: 9-2 win over Neepawa: The Stampeders snapped their three game losing streak with a 9-2 win over the Titans Wednesday night. Swan Valley used four first period goals, one in the second period and four more in the third to take down the Titans Wednesday, Feb. 15. Kobe Grant stopped 37/39 shots he faced for his 17th win of the season.

The loss is the teams fourth straight, now sitting two points up on Selkirk for the final playoff spot in the East Division. The Nighthawks will be looking heavily to use home ice advantage on the travelling Stampeders.

Last Game: 3-2 loss to OCN: The Nighthawks found themselves trailing 1-0 after twenty minutes of play last night. Niverville used two second period goals to gain a 2-1 lead after 40 minutes, but let it slip in the third period, giving up a pair of goals and dropping their fourth straight game. Chris Fines stopped 35/38 shots he faced in the loss.
