Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Steelers: The Stampeders hope their two game road trip will snap them out of their recent losing streak. Swan Valley will be very hungry for two points tonight in Selkirk after dropping their last six straight. The Stampeders need to stay out of the penalty box and find a way to generate offence against a team that can beat you if you take a night off.
Last Game: 4-3 loss to Dauphin: The Stampeders finally found their offensive touch Wednesday night at the Centennial Arena. Justin Keck, Trey Sauder and Jakob Jones finally broke loose and collected a goal and an assist each but it wasn’t enough as the Dauphin Kings skated to a 4-3 win.

Tonight’s Matchup: vs Swan: The Steelers are a very hard-to-play against team and are much better than their record shows. Selkirk will counter the Stampeders’ top line with the league leader in points, that being Lucas Brennan. In 29 games for the Steelers, Brennan has collected 53 points (31 goals, 22 assists) for his team. The Steelers have home-ice advantage and look to use it tonight when they host the Stampeders.
