The Swan Valley Stampeders have traded 20-year-old forward Jakob Jones to the Winkler Flyers of the MJHL for Future Considerations.
Jones, a native of Vernon, BC came to the Stampeders during the 2022-23 season and instantly became a fan favourite with his style of play. The 5’9” 175lbs forward dressed in 97 total games for Swan Valley, collecting 104 points (46G, 58A).
We want to thank Jakob Jones, and his family, for everything they have done during their time with the Stampeders. We wish Jakob nothing but the very best moving forward with his new team.
