Stamps look to break losing streak against Kings
Stampeders: 6-14-1-0 (5th in West) Power Play % (21.7% T8th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (70.2% 12th in MJHL)
Kings: 12-5-1-0 (1st in West) Power Play % (23.8% 3rd in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (80.3% T6th in MJHL)
The Stampeders are back on home ice after a three game road trip and will look to break their three game slide tonight against the Dauphin Kings.
The Stampeders currently sit 5th in the West Division but aren’t out of it yet, as they’re four points out of the fourth and final playoff spot in the division. They have a game in hand of the Wayway Wolverines, and will need to turn their play around to give themselves a good position going into the second half.
The Kings have won their last two and will look to try and clean up their game, as they have a 5-4-1 record in their last 10 games and now only sit one point ahead of the Virden Oil Capitals for first in the division.
This will be the last time the Kings come to Swan for the rest of the year, as the next two games will both be in Dauphin. The Stampeders must use their play at home to their advantage against a tough Kings team. The Kings lead the season series 2-1.
Players to Watch:
