Stamps Beat OCN 3-0, Win Fifth Straight Preseason Game

Michael Davis stopped all 30 shots he faced, Callum Fortin scored the game winner at 13:48 of the first period, and the Stamps win 3-0 Friday night.

The Stampeders finished off their preseason with a record of 5-0-1 after defeating OCN Friday September 13 in Swan River.

Michael Davis was the story of the game, stopping eight shots in the first, 14 in the second, and 11 in the third backstopping the Stamps’ to their fifth consecutive win in preseason action.

Callum Fortin (Tanner Glasrud, Mattias Dal Monte) opened the scoring at 13:48. Carter Cockburn (Jamie Valentino) would sneak one in late in the first and the Stampeders held a 2-0 lead after twenty minutes of play.

Josh Maucieri (Lane Kirk) would score on a short handed break 3:28 into the third period, and the Stampeders went on to win 3-0 on home ice.
