Stamps Beat Flin Flon 5-3, Win Third Straight Preseason Game

Frazer Dodd and Josh Maucieri lead the way on home ice tonight, picking up 2 goals and an assist each.

The Flin Flon Bombers would open the scoring as Caleb Frankin beat Jaden Little 4:41 into the opening frame.  For the second consecutive night the Stampeders found themselves trailing both in shots, and on the scoreboard after 20 minutes of play.

The Stamps would score a pair in the middle frame, Frazer Dodd (SH) at 7:04, and Josh Maucieri (Ethan Hersant, Mattias Dal Monte) would score on the power play seven minutes later.

Caleb Parkhouse (Rylan Gudnason, Frazer Dodd) would increase the lead, scoring in tight at 3:55 of the third. Flin Flon would score back-to-back goals, Mason Martin (Matt Raymond, Wyatt Gelinas) at 6:12 and Donavon Houle (Mason Martin, Jack Michell) at 10:20 on the power play to even the score at 3. Josh Maucieri (Bryce Irwin, Rylan Gudnason) would score the game winner on a solo effort at 18:35 of the 3rd. Frazer Dodd (Josh Maucieri, John Jebamani) would score into an empty net twenty seconds later, and the Stamps win their third preseason game in a row.
