Swan Valley Drops Third Straight Preseason Game, Lost 6-2 Thursday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their third straight game Thursday Night, losing 6-2 to the Blizzard at Roy H. Johnston Arena in the Pas. 

Peyton Allard opened the scoring, deflecting one home just past the three minute mark of the first period. Swan Valley answered back as Riley Fequet deflected one in two minutes later, tying the game 1-1. Kieran Cooke gave the Blizzard a 2-1 lead scoring on the power play at 14:22. Griffin Ayotte pulled the Stampeders even at 2-2 collecting his second of the preseason with 40 seconds left in the first period.

After that it was all Blizzard. Matthew Langdon scored back-to-back goals, Peyton Allard added his second and Quincy Supprien scored a power play marker in the third and the Blizzard skated to a dominating win on home ice. 

The two teams will be right back at it tomorrow night in Swan River to close out a two game mini-series. Puck drop goes at 7:00 p.m..
