New Country Motel – Post Game Report

Stamps fall 6-2 in Winkler

The Stampeders ran out of gas on Saturday night in Winkler, as they fell 6-2 to the Flyers.

Bennett Muller and Ethan MacTavish had the lone goals on the night, with Muller scoring the first period, and MacTavish scoring late in the third.

The Flyers controlled most of the game and scored one early into the opening frame to make it 1-0 and to set the stage for the entire game.

With their record now down to 6-14-1-0, the Stampeders must get back into the win column going into next week.

They’ll face the Dauphin Kings on Wednesday night inside the SRCA, and the Niverville Nighthawks on Saturday also at home.
